But whether you're writing a song specifically about Summer, a love song or a great song of any kind, Summer is a great time to get a great song noticed by the recording industry. And we're looking hard for some great ones right now so we can get as many as possible to Nashville Recording Artists.

Send your original songs or lyrics, written or co-written by you, along with the appropriate entry fee, and you're in.

Songs and lyrics will be judged by professionals in the music business. That means all entries will automatically be heard and read by professionals who can get your work to some of the best artists in the business.

This is a great chance for you to make it big, with your name on an award-winning song . But you must enter very soon to get in this month's competition. The deadlines for monthly competitions are the last day of each month. So get your entries in now.

Some additional rules: To be included in the Grand and First prize competition, entries must be postmarked or uploaded no later than the final deadline of September 1, 2008, and received no later than September 15, 2008. Each entry will be included in the competition for the month in which we receive it, except for those received in the first 15 days of September, postmarked by the deadline.
